This is my new baby

I'm not allowed to have pets where I live because I rent.
So just by chance I was doing a rehearsal for my next catwalk today at the designer's home (DuskMoth designs) and they had a tank full of baby stick insects and really huge ones.
They were kind enough to let me have one.
I chose a baby because I want to watch it grow.
They're asexual and we don't know the gender of this one yet, but fingers crossed it'll be a female so it will grow huge and have babies.

I haven't named it yet, I've been calling it Steve lol. Twiggy is cool but a bit too obvious for a name.
I know this isn't a shoot pic but I just love my new little critter. Hope you like it anywayP.S I was a big scardy cat for insects especially big ones, so I held a huge one today to overcome my fear..now I have one. I'm still a bit nervous with it but I'll get used to it quickly.

I was used to have only insects too~
I've had three butterflies, two (or more) beetles and lady-bugs too ^^~
Insects are so adorable, I don't think they're gross or freak, they just want more attention and love
Nice story~ I'd like to have pes in my house too, but my mom doesn't aprove it, so, I started to have different pets here >XD~ Now, I jut take care of my plants, no insects... =T
